Elena Salmistraro is an artist and designer living and working in Milan, Italy.
She graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 2008 and in 2009 she founded her own studio with architect Angelo Stoli, where she works on architecture and design projects.
She works as a product designer, artist / illustrator for major companies in the creative industry, including Apple, Alessi, Lavazza, Bosa, Seletti, De Castelli, and many more. She also collaborates with prestigious art and design galleries, such as Dilmos, Camp Design Gallery, Secondome...
Elena Salmistraro has a flourishing list of awards. Over the years, her work has been selected for various international exhibitions. .

2009
With architect Angelo Stoli, she founded her studio in 2009, working on projects ranging from architecture to design, art to fashion and illustration to visual arts in general.
2017
Collaboration with the Italian brand Bosa on the “Primates” collection, a series of ceramics that reflect her talent for integrating natural elements into contemporary creations.
2018
As an ambassador of the Brera Design District for Fuorisalone at Milan’s Salone del Mobile, she designed a three-dimensional installation for Timberland in the heart of the district.

She was selected, along with 20 other Milan-based designers, to take part in the launch of the new Apple store.
