PIXELS & WIRES: Mickey reimagined by Miguel Chevalier and Leblon Delienne
Looking Back at an Exceptional Collaboration: Leblon Delienne x MIGUEL CHEVALIER |

The PIXELS exhibition at the Grand Palais Immersif in Paris, which opened yesterday, is a perfect occasion to celebrate the collections created in collaboration with MIGUEL CHEVALIER, a pioneer of digital art. The first collection, VOXELS, reimagines Mickey and Minnie in a pixelated aesthetic. By deconstructing their silhouettes into a multitude of 3D cubes, these captivating and avant-garde pieces offer an innovative and offbeat vision of these iconic characters. The second collection, WIRE, once again features Mickey, Minnie, as well as Batman and the Batmobile, in a wireframe style inspired by 3D modeling, revealing a strikingly digital universe. |
More recently, the PLEXIGLASS collection—currently available at the Grand Palais Immersif boutique—explores the play of light and engravings on plexiglass. The luminous lines appear to animate the silhouettes, creating the illusion of inner movement, as if Batman and the Batmobile were emerging from a glowing screen.
