Arik Levy, born in Tel Aviv in 1963, is much more than just a designer. He is a multidisciplinary artist who has turned his talent into a unique language.

Europe in Switzerland (graduating in 1991), Levy has embarked on a rich and varied career.

Levy does not confine himself to one particular style. Inspired by the Memphis movement of the 80s (with its bright colours and geometric shapes), he is above all interested in light, materials and new technologies. The result is creations that are both poetic and playful. His work is acclaimed all over the world.

His most famous creations include the Wireflow lamps for Vibia, the elegant Ripple vases for Baccarat, the comfortable Butterfly chairs for Vitra, not to mention his Rock sculptures exhibited in prestigious galleries. Internationally acclaimed, Arik Levy is an exceptional artist and designer. His career is a source of inspiration for all those who wish to innovate and push back the boundaries of creativity.

Future Space, the Rock Chamber

1997

Creation of his own studio, «Ldesign», with Pippo Lionni: graphic designer and musician, specializing in visual identity, product design and scenography.

2000

Project in cooperation with Vitra: creation of a range of office furniture.

2001

Collection of jewelry from the Queens & Kings series. Designed in titanium, a material renowned for its lightness and strength, these jewels are distinguished by their elegant, modern spiral shapes.

2007

Collection Intangible for Baccarat, a series of vases, tumblers and candleholders. In addition, the designer’s emblematic Rock made by Baccarat in cut crystal becomes a sculpture, paperweight or jewelry pendant.

Creation of her first piece in the Swarovski Museum: Transparent Opacity

Exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, “Dans la ligne de mire”, featuring a series of Abstract Rock and other works. Collaboration with Leucos to create “Beamer” lighting fixtures.
