His multi-disciplinary work - art, fashion and design - revolves around a short chromatic range of blue, yellow and red. One of the finest representations was to dress Pope John Paul II, bishops and priests for the 1997 World Youth Day.

As an avant-garde designer and artist, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac anticipated what today constitutes the basis of new creation: art and fashion, detour and collaboration.
