Known for his quirky and extravagant style, Wanders brings a very personal touch by reinterpreting Delft blue within a contemporary, even abstract context that defines his work, painting the resin sculpture of Minnie by hand.

Through this creative process, which is both sensory and artisanal, he reveals his own interpretation of this imaginary icon. For the finishing touch, he imaginatively—and with a touch of humor—applies a chrome gold finish to the famous companion of Mickey's nose.
